THE ART OF THE MOMENT

After 15 years honing my craft, my approach is built on three principles: capturing the moment, elevating it with intention, and just letting you enjoy it by being present.

I read the room instinctively — anticipating emotion and positioning myself so moments unfold naturally. Through careful composition, I create images with layers: foreground and background, gestures and glances — frames that hold more than one story and give real depth to your memories.

Light, timing and thoughtful editing refine what’s authentic into something enduring.

And one of the things I love most is creating portraits of couples that feel completely natural — not posed or directed — capturing how you truly are at that moment. I can frame you, catch the light, and preserve your presence so each portrait radiates the emotion, connection, and quiet beauty of the moment itself. Fully present, completely immersed — that’s what I preserve.

Once you’re booked, I’ll be in touch before your wedding to gather details and schedule a pre-wedding consultation a couple of months in advance. After this, you’ll feel relaxed and excited about the photography, ready to fully enjoy your day.

Frequently asked Questions

As soon as you’re ready! Many couples reserve me soon after they’ve secured their venue and date — but sometimes I even hear from couples before they finalise a venue. Because my calendar fills up (especially in peak season) I recommend checking availability early.

I focus on a documentary / candid style — capturing real, unposed, genuine moments. Alongside that, I also create beautiful, composed “wall-hanger” images of the two of you and key moments. Think of it as storytelling with creative flair: documentary + editorial.

Yes — absolutely. While candid moments are the heart of my style, I know how important family and group photos are too (although these in themselves often produce wonderful moments to capture as you all come together!). We’ll plan a time for formal group shots during the reception (or at a time that suits your schedule), and I’m always happy to respond to any ad-hoc requests during the day.

No need to worry — bad weather doesn’t stop us! I’m experienced in working with unpredictable weather and lighting, and I’ll adapt and use creativity (plus any necessary lighting gear) to still deliver beautiful images. I also provide practical tips and guidance (via my “Wedding Guide”) to help you plan ahead.

In my 15 years of photographing weddings there aren’t many venues I haven’t shot at, particularly in the South of England! But even if I haven’t shot at your chosen venue before — that’s fine. I love discovering new venues and bringing a fresh perspective. My approach is driven by light and moments more than by “the best spots,” but I will still research the venue in advance to make sure I’m well-prepared.

All final fully-edited, high-resolution images will be provided for download and printing. For a full day’s coverage this can be in the range of 700-1,000, sometimes more! You can expect your full gallery within 2–3 weeks. I also aim to send a few initial previews within 1–3 days, plus a highlights “reel” (approx. 120 images set to music) within two weeks.

Yes — I offer bespoke, heirloom-quality albums. These albums are designed by me (and my creative partner, when applicable) to tell the full story of your day, in a way that feels timeless and personal. Many couples choose this to preserve memories for generations to come.

I combine a documentary approach (capturing real moments, natural emotion) with creative, editorial-style portraits — giving you a timeless, heartfelt yet artistically rich result.
I prioritise authenticity — I’m passionate about connecting with couples, understanding “who you are,” and ensuring photos reflect you, not a staged ideal.
I provide a full-service experience: from pre-wedding consultation and planning, to quick previews, to full galleries, to optional heirloom albums — so your wedding memories are cared for every step of the way.

Definitely. I offer flexible “part-day” packages (ideal for elopements, intimate weddings, or shorter ceremonies) — you can choose coverage from around 2 up to 7 hours, depending on what you need.

Yes — I’m based in North Hampshire (near Basingstoke) but regularly travel across the UK and beyond. For weddings more than 100 miles away I simply ask that travel costs are covered.
