From early dates at the London Transport Museum to a shared passion for staying active and enjoying cosy nights in, their journey led them perfectly to an intimate, relaxed Ashley Wood Farm wedding day, filled with warmth, laughter and personal touches that made this rustic barn venue truly come alive.

Izzy and Oli’s engagement was a natural continuation of their shared love of exploring and creating memories together. It felt like the easiest “yes,” a moment that reflected the steady, joyful partnership they’d built—full of adventure, laughter and a deep sense that they were exactly where they were meant to be.

When it came to planning their wedding, Wiltshire was a non-negotiable choice. It’s where Izzy grew up, and even though neither of them is particularly traditional, anchoring the day in a place with such personal meaning felt important. They quickly fell for Ashley Wood Farm, drawn to its natural, low-key charm. The venue offered a relaxed, outdoorsy setting that framed the celebration beautifully without ever trying to take centre stage.

Their vision for the day centred around authenticity—easy moments, genuine emotion and a laid-back atmosphere. They wanted their wedding to feel calm, joyful and real, giving their guests space to connect, breathe and enjoy being part of something meaningful. Seeing it all unfold on the day, it was clear that this warmth and ease shaped every moment.

That same desire for honesty and vibrancy guided their photography choices. Izzy and Oli told me they loved my work for its colour, energy and focus on candid storytelling. They didn’t want anything overly posed or artificial—just natural images that captured the little moments as much as the big ones. Their hope was to relive the day through photos that feel alive, and it was a joy to document a celebration so genuinely reflective of who they are.
