Coming into this wedding season I invested in the Coming into this wedding season I invested in the Sony 50mm f/1.2 GM, and it’s quickly become my favourite lens. . There’s something special about the way it renders a scene—beautifully natural, incredibly sharp (even when trying to focus on mirrors!) and with a stunning sense of depth that draws your eye straight to the moments that matter. It has a knack for turning fleeting moments into images full of atmosphere and emotion. A lens with both technical brilliance and a whole lot of soul! . I’ve always loved capturing moments like this—Sophie putting on the earrings gifted to her by her soon-to-be husband, Rob—but with this lens, the experience feels even more special. .
