Priya & Tom’s Beautiful Fusion Wedding at The Elvetham

Priya and Tom are the ultimate team—whether they’re hitting the gym, going for a run, or being completely outsmarted by their mischievous puppy, Happy (who, let’s be honest, runs the house). She loves Tom’s outgoing and hilarious personality, which means there’s never a dull moment. Originally from Gosport, near Portsmouth, they made the big move to Surrey in 2021 when they bought their first home together.

Their love story kicked off right back in 2015, when Priya started her new job at Hugo Boss and found herself working alongside Tom. Fast forward nine years, and they finally got married on 7th September—perfect timing, because it means their first morning as a married couple also marked their nine-year ‘met-versary’! Clearly, they like to keep things sentimental… or maybe they just really love an easy-to-remember anniversary date!

Priya and Tom’s engagement story is straight out of a romance novel—with a twist of comedy. On September 27th, 2022, while sailing the dreamy waters of Olu Deniz, Turkey, Tom pulled off a proposal as unique as it was heart-melting. Ever the romantic, he handed Priya their memory book—a scrapbook of special moments. At first, she thought, Bit weird bringing this on holiday… but as she flipped through, she found the words: ‘Tom proposed to Priya’. Before she could react, he was on one knee, ring in hand. Cue happy tears, a celebratory swim, and a sunset straight out of a movie.

When it came to choosing a venue, they didn’t waste time—The Elvetham was the one from the moment they saw it. Its regal charm and grand setting ticked every box for a luxurious yet intimate wedding. Given Priya’s love for British culture and royalty, she was instantly drawn to its elegant architecture, stunning gardens, and fairy-tale atmosphere. It wasn’t just a venue; it was the perfect backdrop for their love story.

For their photography, Priya and Tom wanted natural, storytelling images—candid moments full of laughter and emotion, without stiff poses. When Priya saw my documentary approach, she knew it was exactly what they wanted. The fact that I could also capture stunning fireworks shots? A bonus! As the night drew in and celebrations peaked, we created something unforgettable—an epic moment of them together, fireworks lighting up the sky, and a spectacular finale to their perfect day.
