Chloe and Mike feel incredibly lucky to have found each other. Their relationship is full of fun, laughter, and shared passions—from music, books, and TV, to long cycle rides, cinema trips, holidays exploring, and music festivals. Both working in media, they’ve built a life that’s as adventurous as it is cozy, filled with friends, family, dogs, and plenty of wine.
Their love story didn’t start conventionally: when they first began dating, it was technically illegal to hold hands during COVID, and just a month in, Chloe’s dad sadly passed away. Mike was her rock, and the challenges only strengthened their bond. With Mike’s calm, patient nature complementing Chloe’s excitable and chatty personality, they make a perfect team—bringing out the best in each other, whether dancing at festivals or enjoying a quiet glass of wine.

Chloe and Mike first met in 2014 at a friends’ summer BBQ in South London. Instant friends, they bonded over food and music—but it took six years for romance to bloom. In April 2020, during lockdown, virtual cook-alongs led to the long-awaited text: “When this is all over, we should go on a real date.” Shared passions for DnB, Chianti Classico, and Lord of the Rings sealed the deal.
Four years later, Mike proposed on a Tuscan vineyard, simple, natural, and perfectly them. For their wedding, Old Luxters Barn was the obvious choice: rustic, intimate, and warm, with woodland surroundings and autumnal colours. They imagined a boho, relaxed celebration where everyone could dance, laugh, and enjoy themselves into the night.
When it came to photography, Chloe and Mike chose me because they wanted warmth, colour, and natural happiness captured in every frame. They loved the tone of my work and the way I document weddings in a relaxed, storytelling style—perfect for their autumnal, boho celebration. Having photographed at Old Luxters Barn before, they knew I’d find the best light, locations, and angles to bring their day to life exactly as they imagined.
