Emily & Ollie’s Farnham Castle wedding in Surrey was a timeless and relaxed celebration at one of the most beautiful castle wedding venues in the South of England. Emily describes Ollie as the most gentlemanly and kind-hearted man — chivalrous, funny, genuine and deeply passionate about the things he loves. Ollie speaks of Emily as the kindest woman he knows, with a wonderfully warm personality and a thoughtfulness that runs through everything she does. Together, they balance one another perfectly, bringing calm and energy in equal measure and always bringing out the very best in each other.
They met on a Hinge date at The Stonhouse in Clapham — Ollie’s last attempt before deleting the app and Emily’s first date after re-downloading it. They talked for hours before even ordering a drink, eventually chatting until the pub closed. From that night on, they’ve been inseparable.

Emily and Ollie’s relationship is built on friendship, balance and shared interests. Emily’s more extroverted nature is perfectly complemented by Ollie’s calmer, more thoughtful approach, creating a partnership that feels steady, joyful and deeply connected. They love staying active, travelling, hiking and spending time with friends, and food plays a big part in their lives — from cooking together to discovering new restaurants and enjoying time around the table. More recently, they’ve taken up golf together, which has quickly become a favourite shared pastime.
Ollie originally planned to propose in Wales, a place full of childhood memories for Emily, with her parents quietly involved in the plan. After collecting the ring, however, he realised he couldn’t wait the planned five weeks and instead proposed spontaneously at home just two days later. It was private, low-key and perfectly reflective of who they are as a couple.
When it came to choosing their wedding venue, they knew Surrey felt right. Ollie’s love of history, combined with their shared appreciation for beautiful views, made Farnham Castle the natural choice. The setting offered both a sense of occasion and a calm, timeless backdrop for their day.
For their wedding photography, Emily & Ollie wanted the day captured as it unfolded. Their priority was documenting genuine moments, natural interactions and relaxed portraits that feel honest and timeless — allowing them to fully enjoy the day while preserving the memories exactly as they happened.
