Best Hampshire Wedding Photographer Moments – My favourites from 2022
– My Personal Favourites From 2022
Well, with my heart full, my head buzzing and my smile as wide as my lovely new 16-35mm lens, I reluctantly start to say goodbye to another glorious year of capturing some of your finest moments (at the time of writing I’m still not done – I have one more wedding to go on the 30th December and I’m sure I’ll have a few more favourites from that wedding to add here at a later date).
However, before Big Ben chimes in the New Year I just wanted to pick out some of my favourite moments from all the weddings that it’s been my absolute privilege of being a part of throughout 2022. But boy that is so much easier said than done! With each and every wedding there are so many awesome moments and so trying to whittle something like 28,000 photos down to a ‘short list’ of 150 is, well, nigh on impossible. In fact I reckon I could produce 5 0r 6 different versions!
Anyhow, here goes with my selection. Although on first glance there may seem to be a real variety, on closer inspection you’ll notice a common theme. AUTHENTICITY. This is regardless of the venue (whether it be a new venue to me such as Stoke Place or Loseley Park or an old favourite like The Elvetham, Tylney Hall, Ufton Court or Old Luxters Barn), time of year or size of wedding. Being a documentary photographer I’m driven to capture compelling, real and genuine moments. Romantic little touches, tender kisses, loving glances, connection, humour, cheering, hugs, tears, awesome dance floor antics and full on belly laughs! This is the biggest thing I love doing for all my couples – capturing those moments at precisely the right time, in the best light, using creativity and with the best composition.
Thank you 2022, I’ve had a blast. Now bring on 2023 – a whole new year of adventures, wonderful couples and their fabulous stories awaits me.
p.s. here’s a look back on my favourites for 2021.
Sound on, make it BIG, Enjoy.
