Daniella and Louis are the kind of couple drawn to a vibrant outdoor countryside wedding — warm, people-focused and full of energy. Kindness sits at the heart of who they are. Daniella is incredibly selfless, always putting others first, something she brings into her role as a primary school teacher. She has a wonderfully close-knit group of friends, which made having six bridesmaids by her side feel completely natural. To Daniella, Louis is the kindest person she knows: patient, supportive and endlessly generous. Creative by nature, he works in video production and has a big family and friendship group who all adore his warm, funny personality.

Their story began long before they officially became a couple. Having gone to the same secondary school, they shared friendship groups and crossed paths regularly at parties and events. That long-standing friendship eventually led to their first date, and they made things official on 13th April 2016, building a relationship rooted in trust, laughter and genuine connection.
After years of growing together, Louis proposed to Daniella in August 2023 while they were staying with her South African family in Cape Town. On a beach walk, under the pretence of looking for shells, Louis surprised Daniella by presenting her with “the shiniest gem of them all” — a moment filled with emotion, laughter and meaning, made even more special by having family close by.
For their wedding, Daniella and Louis envisioned a vibrant outdoor countryside wedding full of colour, music and energy. They chose their venue, The Elvetham Hotel, that offered beautiful outdoor spaces, stunning architecture and a relaxed yet celebratory atmosphere, allowing the day to flow naturally from ceremony to reception. With family travelling from South Africa, Australia and America, bringing everyone together in one place was one of their biggest priorities.
They were drawn to a natural, candid photography style that focused on real moments rather than anything forced. Music and dancing played a huge role in the day, with a live band creating an upbeat atmosphere into the night. From quiet conversations to full-on dancefloor moments, their wedding was all about connection, movement and celebrating with the people who matter most.
