SAME SEX WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Hannah and Laura thankfully found me at The Elvetham wedding showcase earlier this year and I was chuffed to bits when they asked me to be their same sex wedding photographer. The only downside was that the wedding itself isn’t until January 2021! However, fortunately they decided to include a pre-wedding / engagement photo shoot in their package which therefore enabled us to get to know each other a little bit more ahead of their big day.

We decided to go for a bit of a coastal theme as that’s where they live, although that quickly gave way to a ‘Husky theme’ as we were joined by their 3 gorgeous dogs. To be honest the only time I’d previously spent any amount of time around Huskies was on a family holiday to Lapland when we spent hours being towed by them across the snowy wilderness!

Chapter 1 of the shoot was spent on the shoreline near Netley Abbey as they went about creating their ‘Save the Date’ sign. Such a fun cute moment, completely overtaken by the Huskies!

Once we’d had a bit of fun with creating the ‘Save the Date’ sign….and a LOT of fun with the Huskies, we switched to a slightly more romantic vibe and headed to the trees by the water’s edge at Netley Abbey where Laura proposed to Hannah earlier in the year.

To make the most of the quickly fading light we wrapped up in Hamble, a favourite little spot of mine. I just knew the pinks and quirky little areas would suit them down to the ground.
