Beautiful summer’s evening family photoshoot at West Wittering Beach

There’s something special about returning to photograph a family as their story unfolds. Having first met Rhiannon and Graham when I photographed their wedding, it’s been a real privilege to document this next chapter with their growing family of four. West Wittering couldn’t have been a more fitting backdrop—wide open skies, windswept dunes, and that sense of freedom that just invites everyone to relax into the moment. This is exactly the kind of setting where children can run, parents can breathe, and everything unfolds naturally without pressure or posing.

This session was a perfect reminder that patience is often where the magic lives. We held off as the rain passed through, resisting the urge to rush or reschedule—and it paid off in the best way. As the clouds broke, we were treated to the most incredible light and a full double rainbow stretching across the sky. What followed was a series of beautifully unfiltered moments—barefoot laughter, windswept cuddles, and that quiet joy that comes when a family is completely present with each other. For families drawn to the outdoors, to movement, and to letting moments happen rather than forcing them, sessions like this are where the real story is told.
