Best Hampshire Wedding Photographer : 2023 Highlights – my favourite moments

Another trip around the sun; another year in wedding wonderland. Another year being blessed with what I love doing the most –  revelling in some of life’s very best moments and being given the greatest privilege of capturing them. Not only for my fabulous couples but also for their friends & families. Not to mention their future generations too.

A year that promised so much but somehow delivered even more. 40 incredible weddings spread far and wide – from Clitheroe to Canterbury and from Devon to the Dales. With plenty of Hampshire and the Home Counties in between!

A year that brought the greatest variety of weddings – marquee weddings, private estate weddings, church weddings, barn weddings, country house weddings, blank canvas weddings, castle weddings, intimate weddings and HUGE weddings!

Spring, summer, autumn and winter (sometimes all in one day) – yes the weather was predictably unpredictable and a bit dodgy but the vibe endured from preps to party!

The year that saw the full onslaught of AI, not least of all in photography post production. All good for those that like to benefit from it but for me it just made me want to capture the REAL moments and REAL connections and emotions even more authentically.

It was also the year that saw me shoot my final Covid-delayed wedding. A wedding that I had to wait 5 long years for from the point they first booked me. But wow, did they make up for it! The very lovely couple know who they are.

So…..that was T W E N T Y 23. Well almost. At the time of writing I’ve still got another 2 weddings to indulge in! Keep checking in to spot the updates!

As I sign off I find myself in the paradoxically familiar, yet strange, situation of itching to embrace all that the new year has to offer whilst at the same time not wanting to let go of the current year! Hey ho, at least I’ve got the photos to keep bringing all the memories and feelings flooding back, eh?
