As a proud family man, I’m deeply empathetic and compassionate, naturally drawn to the rich tapestry of people and their stories. I thrive on adventure, whether it’s exploring faraway places or touring the country in our campervan. I love sports in general, especially cricket, and stay relatively fit through cycling. All this fuels my photography—creating heartfelt, inspired images influenced by the landscapes I encounter, filled with energy and fun.

Nicola is full of ideas and inspiration. She gives me the strength and encouragement to keep pursuing what I love. But Nicola is very creative in her own right and also plays a key role in the business, designing beautiful albums for our couples to perfectly tell the story of their day.

MY Journey
I’ve been on this hugely enriching and fulfilling photography journey for well over 15 years, constantly honing my craft along the way. What started as a simple quest to capture my then young son’s character and personality quickly evolved into a career that took me away from the corporate world and into ‘real life’.
Within just a couple of years, I became a recommended photographer at two leading wedding venues in my area. The next big step in my career came in 2015, only four years after I made photography my full-time profession, when I was recognised as one of the ‘International Top 10 Wedding Photographers of the Year’ by The Guild of Photographers. While industry recognition is wonderful, nothing excites me more these days than knowing I’ve done a great job for a client—especially when I receive glowing feedback or a recommendation to their friends or family. In fact, I’m immensely proud to say that over 90% of my work now comes from referrals.

1. MY FAMILY
Our awesome son Seb and our gorgeous Miniature Schnauzer Herbie go to complete my family that I’m so, so proud of.
2. BONGO, OUR CAMPERVAN
And plenty of opportunities to do it all over again, with a different view on our next camping trip. Best enjoyed with a cup of tea and a family hug!
3. CHARITY WORK
I love to give something back and put my photography to good causes when I can. I’ve been particularly active with the Hope Foundation over the years and this is me when I documented one of their homeless children projects in Kolkata
4. MUSIC FESTIVALS
Particularly country music festivals!
5. CRICKET
In reality, this was my first love, something I played from an early age. However, having unofficially hung up my boots, I now mostly just sit back and watch whenever I can
6. CYCLING
I love it for a number of reasons. The fresh air, the countryside and the head space. But it also provides me with the fitness to keep running around at weddings for 14 hours a day and to chase the little ones round on my family photoshoots!
7. HOT TUBS!
This was Switzerland and we’re making it our life’s mission to stay in as many places around the world with the most exotic hot tubs as we can

My wife Nicola, of course. Full of ideas and inspiration. She has said yes to all that I ask – some crazy, some lifelong questions. She provides me with the encouragement to just keep going and is a great ‘hermey dancer’.
